I really like the idea that Dave and I have. I think that talking about the election is a really good way to address the every day because, especially working in the media industry, this has been our every day for quite a while. And even now that the election is over it's part of our lives. There was controversy in the election--a lot of racial/sexist issues that were addressed by many people.

Sounds like a good idea... fun, refreshing, relevant, entertaining, everyday, possibly scandalous!
It definitely meets the requirements. It uses collaboration, with a focus on the everyday... perhaps personal, perhaps scandalous.
I believe that with enough responses from your friends, you will have sufficient documentation.
Well, the plan that you have going sounds great. The example photo is good, and I can imagine some responses. It will be a good collage of spoken statements, visual elements, and collaboration. I can't really think of any "to do" suggestions. Perhaps after talking with you I will. Sounds good! ERiN
It sounds like it will be an interesting project and I doubt you'll be left wanting for material. I can't really come up with any suggestions so...
One question though, do you plan on focusing on one political group, some of them, or all of them?
